Social Media Content Editor

We work directly with Fortune 1000 and startup leaders across a variety of industries, including marketing, media, technology, advertising, law, finance, corporate sustainability, art and more. We deliver our solution globally in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin.

Clients come to us to become digital influencers in their industry—from growing target audiences on social channels, to creating smart and savvy social content from tweets to blogs, to building personal websites. The objective is to grow their personal brands to help better reflect themselves and their organizations. We have developed an app to help clients do this easily. We do this in part through our proprietary social media management technology, the Qnary app.

We are offering a unique role for fantastic writers who also love social media. As a Social Media Content Editor, you will be tasked to edit weekly content calendars across a variety of industries that will be shared with specific clients to “approve,” “edit” or “reject.” The goal is to ensure the social media content is both expertly written within the client’s industry, relevant to the client’s strategy and objectives, and engaging to entice “likes” and “shares” on social media.

This role is unique as it offers you direct access to some of the top leaders in a variety of industries. Beyond growing your skills in copy editing, social media best practices and strategy, and digital publishing,  you will also gain an unparalleled window into the minds of today’s top leaders and entrepreneurs.

Who You Are:

  • A strong writer and copy editor with a fierce eye for detail.
  • A social media rockstar, or someone interested in learning the trade—we are happy to teach the right candidate social media best practices.
  • Have an interest in learning new technologies, as you will be working closely with our proprietary technology to edit and schedule social media content, in our Qnary app.
  • You love learning, as we work with clients across industries, a love for learning new topics is a must.
  • You are proactive. We are a startup and are looking for people with new ideas to help push our company further.
  • A journalism background is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management skills as you will be working independently to meet deadlines on a weekly basis.
  • A “can-do!” attitude - to be successful in a startup like ours, you must be willing and eager to roll up your sleeves with the team to get the job done.
  • Have an interest in learning more about management and sharing constructive feedback as you will be partially responsible to help train and manage our network of remote content creators.

More About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity with the chance for full-time hire upon review. The work would consist of coming into our office between Wed-Friday (we are flexible on exact hours, but must be within the second half of the week because of content calendar schedule.)

Account Director

Who You Are:

A solution-oriented leader who is up for the challenge to lead Qnary’s account solution team to best serve our clients. Leadership, attention for detail, and a focus on efficient workflow processes is a must for this role. Your primary goal will be to ensure that Qnary’s clients are happy and satisfied with the Qnary solution and service. You will also be responsible for a team of 5+ account managers to ensure they are delivering the Qnary solution to their clients.

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of account management experience, ideally in a role that managed multiple clients. We are also open to experience in journalism or a newsroom where processing and editing content at scale and quality was an emphasis.

Roles and Responsibilities

Leading Qnary’s client accounts and account management team.

Overseeing new clients during initial 3-month onboarding phase. The first 3 months is a critical time for our clients to understand Qnary’s process as well as to have a flawless experience with Qnary’s product and service. The primary role will be to oversee all accounts to ensure the Qnary solution is being delivered flawlessly. The account director will be working with a team of 4-5 account managers who will help to deliver the tactical elements, but you will be the lead responsible for the account.

  • Managing a team of 5+ account managers.
  • Managing quality of solution delivered to all Qnary executive clients.
  • Ensuring best social media practices are up-to-date and being successfully implemented across Qnary’s clients.
  • Reporting to the President on client-status, results, problems and KPIs.

Preferred Experience

  • 2-4 years of account management experience, preferably at a social media or SaaS company, we are also open to experience in journalism or a newsroom where processing and editing content at scale and quality was an emphasis.
  • Fluency in social media best practices for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook.
  • Comfortable in client-facing meetings, with clients who are C-Suite level for major Fortune 500’s.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills is a must.
  • A great writer, with an eye for detail.

Account Manager

More About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with clients to create a social media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns, research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients' industries.
  • Onboard and manage clients use our proprietary technology. Share new feature updates and provide ongoing training.
  • Work with our product development team on our Digital Reputation Management Platform, as well as manage clients on it.
  • Monitor sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of the client.
  • Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.
  • Stay current with social media trends and tools – includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.
  • Continue to refine and define our social marketing process.

Preferred experience:

  • 1-2 years of account management experience is preferred, but not a mandatory requirement—relevant internship experience is also a plus.
  • Experience including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. An understanding of social media analytics and paid media is a plus.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. · Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Must be reliable with deadlines and projects.
  • Exceptional time management skills including the ability to handle multiple clients with changing priorities.
