Bant was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2010 and has a global marketing and communications background steeped in digital and innovation. Prior to launching Qnary, Bant served as CEO at IPG's Reprise Media. Bant had previously been President of Worldwide Digital Communications at IPG's Initiative. Before joining Initiative, Bant served as the Executive Director of the IPG Emerging Media Lab, created Ansible (IPG’s Mobile Marketing Agency) and led Universal McCann’s global digital communications offering. Bant also led IPG's acquisition of Reprise Media in 2006 and managed IPG's investments in Facebook, Radian6 and several other digital enterprises. Before joining IPG, Bant was the Founder and President of a strategic marketing and communications consultancy affiliated with Dentsu Inc. Prior to that, he worked at Leo Burnett Worldwide leading their European digital operations and then integrating the Leo Burnett global digital network now known as Arc Worldwide. Bant started his career as a WPP Fellow. Bant also serves as a board member, advisor, and strategic investor to publicly traded companies and startups. Bant has worked and lived in Asia Pacific, Europe and the U.S. but now lives in New York City with his wife, Carmen, and two sons, Alejandro and Nico.
Ray Carbonell is the CEO of Qnary. Ray was Qnary’s employee #1 and was paramount for Qnary’s growth and fundraising, playing a key role at finances, sales and building Qnary’s global footprint. Prior to being named CEO, Ray acted as Global President of Qnary, where he oversaw Qnary's business units across the US, Europe, and Asia. Ray is a very curious, creative and data-driven executive, who is passionate about building and scaling businesses. Ray holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from ESADE Business School, and Master’s Degree in Finance from ESADE and the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
Mark oversees product development and is focused on delivering a simple yet powerful solution for Qnary clients. Prior to joining Qnary, Mark served as SEO lead at Gilt Groupe where he developed, launched, and managed their SEO strategy. Previously, Mark held leadership roles in SEO, digital marketing, and social optimization at leading digital agencies, Reprise and 360i. He also helped launch digitally focused startups in the real estate, retail, and publishing industries. Mark began his career at Rawhide Media, a marketing agency delivering digital visibility solutions and SEO in the era before Google. Mark’s expertise at automating and scaling digital solutions through technology has helped him establish Qnary’s product suite as the preeminent digital presence solution for clients across every industry. Mark is a retired beer league hockey player and craft beer aficionado. He currently resides in the wilds of northern New Jersey with his wife April and daughters Autumn & Amelia, where he enjoys hiking and chasing bears out of his yard.
Mary oversees the Qnary Core Solution and is responsible for developing the Q-Nework and Q-Studio. She is passionate about building and optimizing a scalable method to create and deliver media-rich, engaging, and strategic content to suit a broad and diverse ray of client needs. She has over 10-years of experience working as a digital and social media strategist for brands like American Express, COTY, Reddick Benckiser, and L’Oreal Paris. She has published and spoken about social media trends and how people interact, engage and “live” online at SXSW, MediaPost, The Drum, and universities including NYU, Cooper Union, Middlebury College, Ithaca College and others. She is mom to a very silly toddler named, Quinn, and an ardent marathon runner. Her secret dream is to write a cookbook.
Marc oversees account solutions and business development. He has 10 years of experience in social media marketing, account management, and digital strategy. He has successfully worked with Fortune 500 brands and executives as well as entrepreneurs and SMB’s. Marc has evangelized professional and executive social media and workforce advocacy at pillar events such as SXSW, CES, Festival of Media, Cannes Lions Festival, Advertising Week, and more. He plays a key role in advising clients on the best way to leverage social for their enterprise and executives. Marc’s a NJ native with a passion for marketing, emerging technology, fitness, and people.
Savina Kotorov has overseen Operations at Qnary for over four years. Prior to Qnary, Savina has led global operations both with early stage digital companies as well as Fortune 1000 companies, providing her with a robust perspective of the industry. She has lived in four countries and can speak five languages, a helpful asset as Qnary grows around the world with more and more international offices. Before moving to the States, Savina lived in Madrid for 10 years, where she was the finance and operations officer at the subsidiary of a multi-national Japanese company, FANUC LTD. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, cooking, walking, and pursuing her lifelong interests in art, fashion and design, as well as humbly fighting climate change one small step at a time.
Andrew has 20 years experience working with brands on portfolio management, integrated communications, advertising and brand strategy. Prior to launching Qnary in Australia, Andrew was most recently the Managing Director of Wunderman, WPP's Digital Agency combining data and creativity. Past roles have included being Managing Director of WPP's Global Brand Unit, Red Fuse boh in North America and Asia, where he was also a member of the Global Leadership team. He was also the Managing Director of Photons Integrated communications pillar and has held senior positions with Young & Rubicam since 2002.
Marc Alegre is currently the EMEA's Account Manager of Qnary. He lives in Barcelona, from where he oversees European accounts and is the responsible for managing client success. He has over 15-years of experience working in the marketing, communication and media industry for brands and e-commerce like La Fageda, La Tavella, Viver de Bell-lloc or Northweek. He has helped brands to define their acquisition and loyalty strategies and strengthen their overall communication. He has been presenter and producer in Spanish Television. He is also a professor of Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing at the Ramon Llull's University of Barcelona. Prior to that, he worked at Hawkers' group as the CMO of AFTER Sunglasses. Kensuke Fujie is currently the Managing Director of Qnary Japan. He has over 10 years of experience in marketing, communication and business strategy management as a consultant. He contributes a lot to Qnary’s business in Japan as well as in Asia with his strong business network and deep knowledge over the mar-com business. Prior to this, he has been working for Dentsu, both in Japan and the US office 30+ years. He used to initiate many project for multi-national marketers like P&G, Fedex, and Hitachi. He has been assigned as an executive producer by the Institute for Future Engineering, one of the most reputable Japanese think tank in the field of science and engineering, ranked fourth in the Global Go To Think Tank Index (GGTTI). He loves Jazz and classic music as well as sailing in the sea.
Masahiro Kano, CEO, Qnary Japan has over 20 years experiences in digital marketing as Chairman and CEO, Nielsen//NetRatings Japan, CEO, TubeMogul Japan, and Country Manager of Krux Digital Japan. He is constantly introducing innovative methods and technologies related to digital marketing and branding to the Japanese market, and continually identifies new trends in the digital marketing industry through his global viewpoint. Recently, he foresaw the importance of the reputation growth for individuals and brands along with its deep relationship with workforce advocacy. This lead him to participate in the founding of Qnary Japan and to his promotion to CEO of Qnary Japan in 2016.
